Living well
Many people are happier if they can remain independent and in their own homes as long as possible. It is important for clinicians to encourage the person with dementia to be as independent as possible and to continue to do the things that they enjoy.
There are some practical things that people can do to help them to live as well as possible; focusing on the things they can and want to do and trying not to become isolated, keeping busy with activities they enjoy may help them to feel more confident. In this section, you will find a range of local activities and information to help you to live well.
Please note you do not need a confirmed diagnosis of dementia to attend the classes and activities.
