Scottish Carers’ Charter
Scottish Carers’ Charter
If you are caring for someone in Scotland, you have rights and support available to you. The primary law that affects unpaid carers in Scotland is called the Carers (Scotland) Act. The Scottish Government’s Carers’ charter outlines your rights under the act. A range of organisations are available to give you any information or support you may need. Support is available for carers both locally and nationally.
