Welcome to the West Dunbartonshire Dementia Roadmap. A one-stop shop for anyone affected by dementia or interested in finding out more about it.

Here you will find information about groups, services and resources in West Dunbartonshire that support people with dementia, their families and carers. We offer information about what dementia is, how to lower the chance of developing dementia and what services there are to meet the needs of people diagnosed with dementia and their carers.

There are different sections under the Well Pathway: Preventing Well, Diagnosing Well, Supporting Well, Living Well, End of Life and Caring Well. There is also a Local Services section and a quick search tool. Each section has a list of related sub-sections, and each page has two tabs: ‘Services’ will list all the local groups and services available, and ‘Information’ provides a range of fact sheets and other documents we hope are helpful.

We hope you find this resource useful and welcome your feedback. Contact us by emailing us at dementia.website@west-dunbarton.gov.uk.

If you need advice or support, contact Alzheimer Scotland’s National Dementia Helpline on 0808 808 3000.
